Synopsis

Inspired by John Paul II's 2005 book "Memory and Identity: Conversations at the dawn of a New Millenium", staff and students of 38 member universities of the Association of South and East Asian Catholic Colleges and Universities met at the St Paul's Institute in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, in August 2022 to reflect upon memory and identity. This book contains four of the keynote papers given at that conference, addressing the major themes of the conference.

Rector of Universidade Católica Portuguesa where she is a Full Professor in the Faculty of Human Sciences. She has been the President of the International Federation of Catholic Universities since 2018 and is a Consultor to the Dicastery for Culture and Education of the Holy See.

Professor of Sociology, and a Research Associate of the Research Center for Social Sciences and Education in the University of Santo Tomas, Manila, Philippines. He was the Principal Investigator of the National Catechetical Study (NCS) 2021: Pastoral Action Research and Intervention (PARI) Project where some research data described in this current paper was based on.
